Mr. Darris Bernard Evans II of Darlington, SC, Husband of Mrs. Stacie Evans, peacefully transitioned on January 3, 2024, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, S.C. The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, Ms. Pearlena (Ms. Piggy) Taylor, 112 Virgil Wells Circle, and the home of his father-in-law, Mr. Cornell Joe, Sr. 104 Saleeby Loop in Darlington SC.
Celebration of Life service for Mr. Evans will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2024, at Lebanon Church, 7001 Friendfield Road, Effingham, SC 29541. Interment will follow at Plaza Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Plaza Road, Lamar, SC 29069.
Public viewing will be on Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
