Mr. Bernard Williams age 66, peacefully transitioned Thursday July 29, 2021. The family will receive friends at 913 Rogers, Rd. Darlington.

Family Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 6:30PM - 7:30PM at the funeral home.

Public Viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 12:00 noon - 7:30PM at the funeral home.

Obituary 

Mr. Bernard Williams affectionately known as “ACE”, son of Mr. Leverne Williams Sr. and Mrs. Charlene Sandsbury Williams was born June 15, 1955 in Darlington, South Carolina. He departed this life on Thursday, July 19, 2021 at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness.

Bernard attended Lawson Grove Baptist Church at an early age and was educated in the public school of Darlington County. He graduated from Mayo High School Class of 1973. 

Bernard was employed at Union Carbine for many years, afterwards he moved to New York to work in Heating & Air with his brothers. Later in life he returned back to his hometown in Darlington, South Carolina until death.

Those left to cherish his memories are: his loving daughter, Belinda Benbow (Rocky) Flemming of Florence, S.C., his mother Charlene Sandsbury Williams of Darlington, S.C., two brothers, Charles (Corine) Williams of Maryland, Herny (Marlene) Williams; two sister: Reather Jackson, Annette Flynn both of Darlington, S.C., sister in law, Resa Williams; three grandchildren: Radyah, Raylei, Allie all of Florence, S.C. and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Bernard is preceded in death by his father Levern Williams Sr., three brothers: Leverne Williams Jr., Almander Williams and Alphoza Williams Sr.
