Mr. Charlie Preston peacefully transitioned October 15, 2023, at Medford Nursing Center in Darlington, SC. 

The family will receive friends at 118 Farm St. Darlington, SC 29532, during the hours of 4:00 p.m - 6:00 p.m.

Celebration of life will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Bethel AME Church 1321 S. Main St, Darlington SC. Interment will follow at Florence National Cemetery, 803 E. National Cemetery Road, Florence, SC 29506.  Public viewing will be at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
