Mr. Deshawn "Cat" Christopher Hardy peacefully transitioned Sunday, January 2, 2022

Celebration of life for Mr. Hardy will be 1:00 p.m. on the lawn of Sherman L. Barno, Jr. Funeral Directors, 704 Washington Street, Darlington, S.C. 29532.

There will be no public viewing.

The family is receiving friends at 616 Dovesville Highway, Darlington, S.C. 29540

Life Reflections

Mr. Deshawn Christopher Hardy, son of the late Ronald Hardy and Christine Hardy, was born October 6, 1980, in Darlington, SC. He departed this earthly life on Saturday morning, January 1, 2022, after an auto accident.

Deshawn graduated from Bishopville High School Class of 1998. He was employed at Walt's Wholesale. He was a burst of laughter and joy among his few co-workers.

He attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church along with his family.

"Cat" as he affect called by family and friends was very kind-hearted and loved to hève a great time with family and friends.

He was greatly loved by his Sunday School Teachers Rev. Ernest Bostick, Ernestine Dudley, and Anna Gattison and the Dovesville community.

He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories: his daughter Shey'vannah Gattison, One Step-Son Tristan Prophet, Parents; his mother Christine Hardy; One brother Victor ( Megan) James. One sister (Louis) Candice Jackson all of Darlington, SC. four nieces, 5 nephews, and 2 great-nieces; Special Aunts (Earl) Mittie Rea Joint, and Walter (Mattie) Mcfarland, Malchai( Mayrann} Williams. Special Friends: Kenneth (Regina) Graham, Dianne Durant, Lasheba Franklin, Special Cousins: Sammy ( Chantel) James, Jarmel (Crystal) Johnson of Charlotte N.C. ,Benard "Big Country" Williams, whom he was reared with as siblings, Special Uncles: Uncle Homes of Brooklyn N.Y and Uncle Son. A host of cousins, family and friend.

Preceded in death: Maternal Grandparents: Albert and Lillie Mae Moses. Paternal Grandparents Eula Hardy of Brooklyn N.Y. Aunt: Queen Esther
