Mr. Eddie Dowdy of Darlington peacefully transitioned Sunday, November 7, 2021 at McLeod Hospice House - Florence, SC.

The family will receive friends at 700 Roena Lane, Darlington, S.C.

Funeral service for Mr. Dowdy will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2021 on the lawn of Sherman L. Barno Jr. Funeral Directors, 704 Washington Street, Darlington, S.C. interment will follow at Centerville AME Church, 2149 East Home Avenue Hartsville, SC 29550. 
 

Please bring your lawn chairs to the funeral service. 

Public viewing will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
