Mr. Jamel "HeavyDuty" Abdul Champagne, Sr., peacefully transitioned on January 30, 2026. 

The family will receive friends during the hours of 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at 652 Willowtree Rd., Darlington, SC 29540.

Celebration of life will be 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Risen Assembly, 1030 Pearl St., Darlington, SC 29532. Interment will take place at Centerville AME Church in Hartsville, SC.

Public viewing will be 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the funeral home.
