Mr. Murres Hall, Jr.

Mr. Murres Hall, Jr. peacefully transitioned Sunday, December 19, 2021. 

Graveside for Mr. Hall will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Florence National Cemetery 803 E. National Cemetery Road, Florence, S.C. 

Public viewing will be from 12:00 noon - 6:00 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2021 at the funeral home.

Life Reflection 

Mr. Murres Hall Jr. a son of the late Morres Hall Sr. and Rosena Hall was born in Darlington, S.C. on May 18, 1954. He was called home on December 19, 2021. 

Murres was proceeded in death by his late wife Cheryl, a sister Loretta, and four brothers, Howard, Larry, Lawrence, and Pete.

“Maurice” as he was called by his family and friends received his formal education in the Darlington County Public School System where he graduated from Mayo High School Class of 1972. 

“Maurice” served his country in the Unites States army and after his tenure he was honorably discharged. He was self employed in the Landscaping business where he proudly served his community. 

“Maurice” was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, family member and friend. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.  

Survivors left to cherish his memories are: his two daughters Da’shawna “Boo” Fordham and Chasity “Weasel” Fordham; two grandchildren Zy’Kera Frazier and Cayden Brunson all of Darlington, S.C.; two sisters: Gloria Samuel and Sharon Wilds both of Darlington, SC; four brothers, Barrett (Diane) Hall, Noris Hall, all of Darlington, S.C. Harry (Debra) Hall of Florence, S.C. and Charles (Thomesena) of Sumter, S.C. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends.
