Mr. Nathaniel (Junior) Graham, Jr. of the Meadow Prong Community, Florence peacefully transitioned Thursday, May 19, 2022 at McLeod Hospice House.

Celebration of life will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Trinity Baptist Church 12T4, W Darlington St, Florence, SC 29501 interment will follow at Meadow Prong Baptist Church, 6933 Meadow Prong Rd, Effingham, SC 29541

Public viewing will be 12:00 noon - 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at the funeral home.

Mr. Nathaniel (Junior) Walter Graham Jr. of the Meadow Prong

Community peacefully transitioned on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the McLeod Hospice House. To his family and friends he will always be their guardian and sturdy oak. Junior was born January 11, 1944 to loving parents Nathaniel Walter Graham Sr. and Bertha Wearings Graham.

Junior was a simple man who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He did not seek after fame, fortune, glory or prestige, but only to live, love, and laugh.

He enjoyed conversating with people and he never met a person that he could not strike up a conversation with or just share a laugh. He was consistent jokester who was forever playing pranks on family and friends.

Junior was the salt of the earth type of man who loved the land and nature. And for many years he used his talents to run a small farm. In later years he only planted a large garden to share with family and friends. In addition to his love of the land his favorite pass time was fishing, hunting, and tending to his large array of farm animals, but his favorite was his horse "Trigger". He also loved the game of baseball and as a youth and young man he played on the Meadow Prong Youth Community baseball team.

Junior was a life member of Meadow Prong Baptist Church, where he served as an Usher for many years. He was also one of the founders of the New Christian Fellowship Church.

Junior attended the Florence County Public School matriculating with the Wilson High School Class of 1961.

Junior was employed with the Vulcraft Steel Company for more than 30 years. After retirement he went on to enjoy a series of entrepreneurial ventures. You could always find him tinkering or repairing something. Junior was known as. the "go to guy" in the community. It was not unusual for neighbors. to call upon him day or night in times of crisis.

He was preceded in death by his father Nathaniel Walter Graham Sr. his mother Bertha Wearings Graham. One sister Rebecca Graham Clarke and one brother Robert "Bobby" Graham.

His lives to cherish his fondest memories, Barbara Samuel Graham.

His daughter Lisa (Ron) Graham Williamson of Florence, South Carolina. His son Nathaniel "Walter" Graham III of Columbia, South Carolina. His sisters Eunice Graham of Columbia, South Carolina, Octavia (James) Swindell of Fort Mills, South Carolina, and Rosa Graham Brown of Charlotte, North Carolina. One brother Thomas Jerome Graham of Florence, South Carolina. A step-son Sherman (Maoula) Barno Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia. A step-daughter Shana (Dwayne) Harrell of Florence, South Carolina. Two grandsons Ron and Jamie Williamson of Florence, South Carolina. Four brothers in laws, one sister in law and best friend Robert Rush. And a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Nathaniel Walter Graham Jr. was a happy man that live life to the fullest, an honorable man who did it his way.
