Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2023 at Plaza Memorial Gardens, Plaza Rd., Lamar, SC 29069.
Public viewing will be 12:00 p.m - 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2023 at the funeral home.
The family will receive friends for visitation during the hour of 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2023 at the funeral home.

Mr. Sammie L. Rouse, Jr, the son of the late Sammie L. Rouse, Sr. and Willive Starks Rouse, was born in the county oy Darlington, SC on September 22, 1961.
He received his formal education from Mayo High School, graduating in the class of 1980. Sammie was employed with Lazy Boy Inc. for fifteen years. He also worked for many other manufacturing companies throughout the Pee Dee region over the course of his life. Due to his declining health conditions, Sammie was forced into disability retirement.
Sammie L. Rouse, Jr. ("Lil Love")was preceded in death by his parents, Sammie L. Rouse, Sr. and Willive Starks Rouse, and one brother, Lyndon Rouse, Sr.
Those surviving to cherish his memories are, his three sisters: Barbara Baker of Brooklyn, NY, Maereatha (Harry) Dubose, of Rockhill, SC, and Robin Jackson of Darlington, SC; one sister-in-law Patricia Rouse of Florence, SC; a special cousin, Neil Rouse, who he lived with in Atlanta, GA; six aunts, Mary Rouse and Rosa Lee Rouse of Darlington, SC, Juanita Davis of Florence, SC, Margie Tindal, Loretta Starks and Sandra Starks all of NY; one uncle, Robert Rouse (Blue) of Atlanta GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
