Celebrating The Life of Ms. Louise Parthenia Wright

Ms. Louise Parthenia Cain Wright was born in Darlington, South Carolina on February 19, 1943 to the late Mr. Woodrow Wilson and Mrs. Myrtle Rachel Smith Cain. She entered into eternal rest on November 29, 2020 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina after being blessed with 77 years. She is now resting in Jesus.

Her education began in the Darlington County Schools and ended in the Seventh-day Adventist Academies. After finishing at Pine Forge Academy, she entered into the workforce. Shortly after, Louise met and married Thomas Wright. From this union came a son and daughter - Sidney and Martha, respectively.  She explored various career paths but found her calling in Law Enforcement as a Matron and a Dispatcher for the Darlington County Sheriff Department. Louise was known as "Lou” to all in the department. She also supervised and dispatched for the 911 Emergency Center in Darlington, South Carolina where she remained until her retirement. During her service, Louise came in contact with many people on the force and in the community, and grew to love and care for them all.  She found great pleasure in assisting the Deputies on call, as well as, helping the community through the 911 Emergency Center.

Louise and her family attended Ephesus Seventh-day Adventist Church where she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She served as Community Service Leader, Assistant Youth Director, Assistant Clerk and Assistant Hospitality Leader. She served faithfully until her health declined.

Her Life and Legacy Transcends

Louise enjoyed crocheting beautiful pieces for her family and friends, solving crossword and numerical puzzles, sending devotionals and cards to those who crossed her mind, and spending quality time with her family. Her greatest joy was found in the faces of her children, grandchildren, and great grandson.  Louise made every effort to attend all functions and major milestones, and basked in all of their accomplishments.  Affectionately known as "Granny" to her grandchildren and “GG” to her great-grandson, she always encouraged them to keep God first, to be sweet, and “remember I love you, love you, love you.”

We will all miss her dearly but find comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on through her family and friends.

Left with unspeakable grief, but cherished memories, her children: Sidney (Fatima) Wright of Jacksonville, Florida and Martha (Joseph, Sr.) Coe of Darlington, South Carolina. Grandchildren: Joseph, Jr. (Billynda) Coe of Bowie, Maryland; Brenton (Alexis) Coe of Elgin, South Carolina; Avery Coe of Charleston, South Carolina; Sequoia Wright and Franzchesca Wright both of Jacksonville, Florida. Great-Grandson: Joseph Coe lll of Bowie, Maryland; A Host of Cousins; Special Daughter: Linda (Edward) Rogers; Special Granddaughter: Janel Raquet; Special Nephews; and her dearest best friend, Paula Outlaw.
